About Me

Welcome to my website! I am an assistant professor in Econometrics at the Amsterdam School of Economics (Quantitative Economics Section), University of Amsterdam. Prior to joining the University of Amsterdam, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Econometrics and Operations Research, Tilburg University, on the NWO RATE analytics project “Next generation predictive analytics for data-driven banking and insurance”. I obtained my PhD from Tilburg University in 2018.

My main research interest is in statistical foundations of machine learning techniques and high-dimensional (time series) econometrics. I also have an interest in the econometrics of networks.
